Fardene E. Blanchard

Fardène E. Blanchard joined this firm in 2005. While experienced in the areas of Immigration, Family Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Housing, and Insurance Defense, she concentrates her practice mainly in the areas of Employment and Professional Liability, Wills and General Litigation.

A transplant from New York, Fardène started her legal career by working as a litigation attorney for the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel, serving in various divisions (Family, Torts and Housing) and representing a string of varied city agencies ranging from the New York City Board of Education to the New York City Police Department and many more. When she left the Department in 2002, she transferred her litigation skills to working in the private sector, where she has remained ever since.

In her work in Employment Litigation, Fardène represents both employees and employers. She has represented victims of various discrimination and wrongful discharge claims against large and small employers. She assists clients (small businesses to larger corporations) in the defense of claims of sexual harassment, age discrimination, wrongful discharge and breach of contract. Fardène's work also includes providing clients with review and analysis of their employee handbooks, company policies and procedures.

A graduate of both New York University (B.A. 1993 cum laude, with concentrations in History and Economics and a minor in Metropolitan and Urban Studies), and New York University School of Law (J.D. 1996), she was admitted to practice in New Jersey and the District of New Jersey in 1997, in New York in 1998, in Pennsylvania in 2005 and in the Southern District of New York in 2011. A former clerk to the U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration Court, Fardène is a current member of the American Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association of New Jersey.
